We are looking for volunteers who are in good physical condition to assist with setting up and arranging tables and chairs in Friendship Hall on Wednesday afternoon. Your help is essential in preparing the space for the decorating team to work their special magic!

Beverage Station
Families with kids 5+ are welcome to volunteer for this activity! This position consists of preparing and serving coffee, water, and soda. (Training to operate our old large coffee maker is included!)

Delivery Facilitator
You will have possession of the cell phone to receive last-minute requests for deliveries and will work with the kitchen staff to fill the orders and arrange for delivery by one of the existing drivers.

Drivers
You will transport meals from Friendship Hall to recipients in the greater Montrose area. There should be two people in the vehicle (only one sign-up, please), and 16+ is allowed with a parent. You will stay in your vehicle, and we will bring the meals out to you.

Floor Crew
We are delighted to offer families the chance to work together! Even the little ones can contribute by helping to keep the area clean, clearing plates, fetching additional drinks and food, and providing assistance as needed. Please let us know the number of adults and children who will be on your team.

Followup Drivers
You will not have a scheduled delivery route, but you will be available to deliver meals if/when we get calls saying they haven’t received anything. If all goes well, you won’t have to do anything, but this important role ensures that everyone who signed up for a meal gets one.

Greeters
Being a greeter is an excellent opportunity to share the holiday spirit! You’ll be the first friendly face our dinner guests see, so it’s important to be outgoing and love interacting with people.

Kitchen Help
Your help in the kitchen is the secret to our success! We need volunteers who are comfortable in a fast-paced and often hot environment, have attention to detail, and are willing to follow instructions. Kitchen Relay
Bring your running shoes and a big smile! You will keep everything running smoothly by carrying fresh containers of hot food from the kitchen to the serving tables. You must be 16+ years old and wear closed-toe shoes and shirts with sleeves. Long hair must be pulled back, and beards must be covered. Aprons will be provided.

Pie Station
You will be stationed at the pie table, cutting and plating servings of pie. You will also clean and prepare the empty pie trays for recycling. Must be 16+.

Recycling
We are delighted to offer families the opportunity to come together and participate in meaningful activities such as scraping and stacking plates, as well as sorting recyclable items. This hands-on experience allows even young children to get involved and contribute to making a positive impact on the environment. Servers (for Deliveries)
This assignment requires you to quickly serve a specific food item to the recipients on the serving line who are preparing meals for delivery. You will be standing on concrete for the entire shift. To be eligible, you must be 16 years or older and wear closed-toe shoes and shirts with sleeves. Long hair must be tied back, and beards must be covered. Aprons will be provided.

This is a fast-paced assignment in which you will serve one specific item of food to the recipients on the serving line. You will be standing on concrete for the entire shift. Tear-Down Team
This assignment, while not the most glamorous, is undeniably essential. Those who have dedicated their time and effort to preparing and serving the meal are often left with the responsibility of cleanup, so please consider volunteering for this important duty. Your assistance in scraping and washing dishes, pots, and pans, as well as tidying and storing tables and other supplies, is crucial in restoring Friendship Hall to its original state. We recommend wearing comfortable attire and footwear.

Traffic Coordinator
You will be responsible for directing and managing traffic flow to support delivery drivers. We are looking for individuals who are at least 16 years old and can comfortably work outdoors for the entire shift.

Trash Helper
Get ready to put on your running shoes and bring a can-do attitude! In this position, your responsibilities will include emptying and removing full trash bins. This opportunity is ideal for volunteers who are physically comfortable lifting a minimum of 15-20 pounds.
